In 1869, the priest of the church SS. Pietro e Paolo created a Status Animarum. Photo here. It was a census-like document that listed all the families in SPA along with parents and birth dates. The arcipriete at the time was my great great granduncle Don Giovanni Frazzini. For the 1852 Status Animarum, click here.

There are three more SA available for research 1749, 1769, and 1852 .

My cousin, Giuliano Colajanni, has been going through the 1869 Status Animarum and putting each family data into an Excel spreadsheet. He gave those spreadsheets to me and I present them here.

These listings are a fantastic view of SPA in 1869. Each file usually shows the name and birth year of husband and wife, the names of their parents, and the names and birth years of their children. Sometimes you can see 3 generations of families living in one house. I can't understate the value of this information complied by Giuliano. Look at some of the files and you will agree.

With these files, we have the exact husband - wife - child relationships.

Now I am sending as an attachment. many tables related to SPA Status Animarum 1869. I verified also the Status Animarum 1852. In the tables you can read :

a) the street were the interested person lived
b) the name of family leader
c) birth dates
d) n° of families in the house
e) n° total of persons in the house

I prepared these tables to write about SPA in 1870, and are only memorandum for me.

At the moment, I send you a memo about the 1869 report with :the streets, n° abitant per street,n° family, n° apartments. It is a first result, I must work more to complete it.
