From Maureen diGiovine Follett, Jan 2005: "My name is Maureen Follett and I live in Northern California. I am formerly Maureen DiGiovine from Aliquippa, Pennyslvania. Recently, my Dad (who is 80 and lives in Aliquippa) was visiting us. We went online to research Sant'Eufemia. Both of his parents came from there in the early 1900's. My grandmother was Eufemia DiAngelis DiGiovine. Her husband was Pietro DiGiovine.

I know my grandmother had relatives in Toronto that we stayed with or near, and I am wondering if our grandmothers were sisters. My grandmother did live to be 95 years old. She passed away while I was living out here in California.

I have 2 daughters (one 23 and the other 20). The oldest studied for a semester in Siena a few years ago, and my youngest is currently living and studying in Florence. My husband and I will go to Italy this summer and we want to visit Sant'Eufemia during our travels. Any information concerning travel in that area would be very welcome."
