Renalda 'Honey' DiSanzo, 94, of Freedom, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013.

Born April 12, 1918, in Freedom, a daughter of the late Domenic A. 'Bill' and Elizabeth DiSanzo, she was a retired owner of the former DiSanzo Market in Freedom and was formerly employed with the former Farmers and Producers Market in Rochester. She was a member of St. Felix Roman Catholic Parish, Freedom, where she was a former member of the parish council and former CCD teacher. She was a volunteer with many church activities. She had served 32 years on the Freedom Election Board and was an avid bowler.

Surviving are a niece, Elizabeth Musiol of Baden; numerous great nieces and nephews; numerous great-great nieces and nephews, and two great-great-great nieces.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Jessie Carlini, in 1970; Antoinette Fiorucci, in 1993; Lillian DiSanzo, in 1980, and Mary E. DiSanzo, in 1985; a niece, Mary Louise Tracy; a nephew, James Fiorucci, and a great-great-great niece, Natalie Marie Lias.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Felix Roman Catholic Church, Freedom.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Sewickley Twp.

A Christian wake service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the St. Felix Church Cemetery Fund, 450 13th St., Freedom, PA 15042.

The family wishes to thank the Villa St. Joseph staff for their care and comfort given to Honey.
