Note: MANSFIELD -- Theresa B. Carmel-Fisher, 87, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Mansfield Memorial Homes after a long illness.
Mrs. Carmel-Fisher was born on July 27, 1917, in Jamestown, N.Y. She was a resident of Mansfield for most of her life.
Theresa had been employed with Mama's Touch of Italy since 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Carmel, and second husband, Waldo Fisher; sisters, Carmela Feora, Gertrude Sherman, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Kay Matern-Carmel.
She is survived by son Joseph J. Carmel of Mansfield; brothers Charles Farina of Mansfield and Angelo Farina of Galion; sisters Mary Foti of Galion, and Josephine Carmel of Mansfield. She is also survived by grandchildren Randall Carmel of Millersburg, Michael Carmel of Canal Winchester, and Kristi Colliver of Dublin, and great-grandchildren Kayla Sanders, Korey Sanders, Olivia Carmel and Megan Carmel.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at Mansfield Memorial Park with Rev. Father Michael Zacharias officiating.
Finefrock-Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
