HELPER--Joe Paluso, age 83, died October 13,1999 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
He was born February 17, 1916 at Sunnyside, Utah to Batista and Rose Fratto Paluso. Married Margaret Clerico in 1944.
She died March 8, 1992. Joe served in the U.S. Army. Worked in various coal mines in Carbon County for 17 years. Retired
from Helper Mercantile Co. with 25 years of dedicated service. Member Stella D'America Lodge #77. Joe will best be
remembered for his friendliness and love of travel.Survived by son and spouse, Tom and Bernadette Paluso, Helper; two
granddaughters, Kim and Frank Compagni, Salt Lake City; Nicole Paluso, Salt Lake City; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas
and Katie Ann Compagni; step-daughter, JoAnn Maxton, Ft. Collins, CO; brother, Tony Palusso; sisters, Rose Chiaramonte;
Angie Hosterman, all of California. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters, Sam, John, Antoinette Pileggi
and Katie Enna.
Graveside Service Saturday, October 16, 1999, 12 noon, Mt. View Cemetery in Helper. Under the direction of Mitchell
Funeral Home.
