Jeremy Frazzini, 13, of 41648 Thompson Run Road, Hydetown, died at home Saturday afternoon May 20, 2006, from injuries received in an accident this past January.
Jeremy was born on June 10, 1992, in Erie, a son of John and Julia Fischer Frazzini. He was a student in the 8th grade at the Titusville Middle School.
Jeremy had participated in the Youth Group at the Hydetown Baptist Church. He had been active in Titusville Youth Football. He enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Shaun Frazzini and Daniel Kessen, and a sister, Angelina Frazzini, all at home; his maternal grandmother, Victoria Fischer of Hydetown; his paternal grandmother, Maryellen Hannold, and his paternal great-grandmother, Gertrude Sitter, both of Erie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norman Lasher; his paternal grandfather, Darrel Hannold; his paternal great-grandfather, Floyd Sitter; three uncles, Richard and James Fischer, and Edward Frazzini Jr.; and his pet dogs, Sassy and Muffin.

Man Who Shot Intruder Acted in Self Defense
The Lee County SheriffÙus Office says Todd Rasmussen, who lives on Camellia Drive in North Fort Myers, was acting in self defense when he shot a man hanging around in his backyard.
The SheriffÙus Office has identified the man as 35-year old Michael Frazzini of Cape Coral.
ÙSI turned around and I seen him and I was like oh my God,ÙT said his daughter 16-year old Amanda.
16-year old Amanda Rasmussen was the first to discover a masked man hiding behind the shed in her families backyard.
She ran inside to tell her older brother Corey.
ÙSGuy popped up out of nowhere about six foot, 250, really big, had a mask on his face,ÙT said Corey.
Corey thought the man was trying to break into the home. He was trying to scare the Frazzini off. But the man wouldnÙut back down and he had something in his hand.
ÙSIn the dark they didnÙut know what he had,ÙT said CoreyÙus step-mother Michelle.
The family says they were already on edge because their house was targeted in the last few months.
ÙSSomebodyÙus been knocking on a window and paint-balling our house doing a lot of stuff,ÙT said Michelle.
Father and son say they repeatedly warned the Frazzini to leave the property.
ÙSThe guy just kept coming and kept coming. And after my dad told him he will open fire he turned toward my dad and said do you want a piece of me too and he started advancing toward my father and my father shot him,ÙT said Corey.
Frazzini died at the scene.
Amanda and Michelle Rasmussen say they are still a little scared. But they will rest a little easier knowing that man wonÙut be coming back.
The SheriffÙus Office has not released the name of the man who was killed.

A man dressed in black and wearing a mask was shot to death by a North Fort Myers resident Monday night.
The incident happened at 848 Camelia Drive, south of Hancock Bridge Parkway.
Around 9 p.m., the resident heard a noise in his backyard and went to investigate. He found the masked man and shot him after a confrontation.
The masked man died at the scene. His identity is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.

Michael D. Frazzini, 35, of Cape Coral died Monday, March 27, 2006. The 1989 graduate of North Fort Myers High School was a resident of North Fort Myers. He attended Wentworth Military Academy in Missouri, receiving his commission as a lieutenant in 1991 and earned an entry into "Who's Who in America" for his military leadership. He continued his education at the University of South Florida in Ft. Myers, where he received his bachelor's degree with a major in history and minor in psychology. Captain Frazzini, a former U.S Army helicopter pilot, served 5 tours on active duty including two tours at Ft. Rucker, Ala., Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Wonju, Korea and Ft. Bragg, N.C. His medals include the U.S. Army Presidential Unit Citation, the U.S. Army Valorous Unit Award, the U.S. Army Meritorious Unit Award, the U.S. Army Commendation Medal, the U.S. Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the U.S. Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He loved every aspect of his military training and continued his flying, joining the Sundowners of Ft Myers six months ago. He was also a boisterous supporter of "the World Championship Pittsburgh Steelers."
He is survived by his wife, Michelle, and sons, Nicholas, 3, and Brandon,1; his grandfather, D.T. Roger William Frazzini, 78, a lifelong resident of Freedom, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007, in The Medical Center, Beaver. Born Aug. 8, 1928, in Freedom, he was a son of the late Joseph Frazzini and the late Natalie "Nellie" Dionise-Frazzini-Pavelek. He was a retired employee of Armco Steel, Ambridge, where he had worked for 37 years, and was a member of St. Felix Roman Catholic Parish, Freedom. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a life member of the Baden American Legion, a life member of the Freedom FOE, and a member of the Freedom SOI and USAW Local No. 1360.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary Ruth (Johnson) Frazzini; a daughter, Tina Marie Frazzini Botinovch and her fiancâe, James Ward Jr., South Beaver Township, and a son, Joseph Roger Frazzini, Freedom. He will be sadly missed by his grandson and granddaughter, Ralph Roger Botinovch and his fiancâee Cristy Gwin, Patterson Township, and Joanna "Joannie" Lea Botinovch, South Beaver Township. He is also survived by a sister, Virginia Jean Hooks, Chippewa Township, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Felix Roman Catholic Church, Freedom.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Sewickley Township. The Beaver County Special Unit will provide full military honors at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
A wake service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Bernard Bonnot officiating, preceded by an 11:30 a.m. prayer service at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Maria LaRocca, 72, who passed away on Monday, Sept. 24, at her residence with her family by her side.
Maria will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends.
She was born March 13, 1935 in S. Eufemia A. Maiella, Italy, and came to America in March of 1967. Maria was the daughter of Guiseppe and Nicoletta (DiNardo) DiNardo.
Maria was employed at The Fireplace Lounge for over 15 years along with being a homemaker. She truly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
Her husband, Gino LaRocca, whom she married Sept. 24, 1966, passed away on Nov. 7, 2000.
She leaves behind to hold on to her memories two children, Anthony LaRocca of Canfield and Nikki LaRocca of Austintown; three grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa and Brianna; along with a sister, Dora DiVecchia of Toronto, Canada.
Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home.
