diGiacomo, Carmine Ernesto {I5608} (b. 15 Jan 1885)
Note: Info from great-granddaughter, Beckie Johnson, May 2008: "My name is Beckie Johnson my g-grandfather was born in SPA. I am looking for anyone who might have some information on him & his family, his name was Carmino Ernesto Di Giacomo DOB January 15, 1885. My cousin and I have done some research and we think his mothers name was Joaninna Colijano. We know he came to the the US when he was around 11 or 12 alone on a work sponsorship and settled in Denver, Colorado. We also believe that his Father was also in the US and died in Latrobe, PA. We would greatly appreciate any information anyone can give us."

1885 - birth records from SPA are missing for this year. With Beckie's hint about his mother's name (Joaninna Colijano), I searched the SPA records and found this family with the mothers name of
Giovanna Colajanni. Most likely a correct connection.
