Laschiazza, Venanzio "Nick" {I10681} (b. 7 Feb 1891, d. 4 Feb 1966)

Note: 1969 obituary in the Wooster Daily Record of sister-in-law, Margaret Monaco. Her name was listed in the obituary as Santa Lachiazzo. I can't find that name anywhere but I believe the spelling should have been Laschiazza. I found several people with that name in Wayne County, OH. There were all from Riano, Italy.

Other notes: I see a Venanzio Laschiazza on EI and he is mentioned in a 1927 OH DC of son Giudo. Giudo died in Wooster, OH. Venanzio is in the 1920 census in Wooster on Palmer St. There is a Coccia family connected somehow: "Laschiazza/Coccia Bakeries 316/324 Palmer Street".

He was a very kind man who was wonderful to my grandmother & treated us all like we were his own. He was very stocky & southern Italian looking. He & my grandmother lived in Louisville, Ohio. He must have had some money because I remember their beautiful home & he always drove nice, big cars. Grandpa Bruno died in 1956 & Venanzio died, I think, in 1966. I'm not sure when my grandma married Venanzio."
