Note: email from Franklin Smith: "The following picture is of Eugene Perilli, the son of Lina and Giovanni. I would guess that it was taken just before his death at the hands of the Nazi's while trying to escape German occupied Italy during WW2. This story comes from my aunt Julia. Eugene appears to be in his middle twenties which would coincide with when his parents where married. Eugene had at least one other sibling, a sister, but it's possible there were more children. It is unknown if Eugene was married, or had any children of his own. He looks a lot like his father."
