Labate, Mark Andrew {I2592} (b. 3 Sep 1963, d. 17 Mar 2005)

A celebration of life for Mark Andrew Labate, 41, of Reno, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Reno Christian Fellowship Church on Zolezzi Lane. Mr. Labate died unexpectedly on March 17, 2005. He was born Sept. 3, 1963, to Loretto "Lorry" Labate and Judy Lisansky in Reno.

He graduated from Wooster High School in 1982, attended the University of Nevada, Reno for two years before becoming a member of the Nevada National Guard. He attended flight school at Fort Rucker, Ala., and was a pilot for 20 years. He married Laura Ann Thedell on July 19, 1986. He enjoyed quad running, skiing, boating, fishing and hunting.

Among his survivors are his wife; children Maddison Ann and Luke Andrew; father and stepmother Lorry and Laverne Labate; mother and stepfather Judy and Joel Lisansky; sister Laurie; brother John; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
