2020 Nov email from herself, Lori Augustine Small: "I am reaching out to you from Aspen, Colorado. I have found your webpage and it is fascinating to read all of the information which you have so diligently compiled!

I am in the process of “Reclaiming” my Italian citizenship. Neither my grandmother nor grandfather nationalized BEFORE my father was born. That is the key! I am in the final stages in which I will be living in SPA, where my grandmother was born as you see below, during the months of April-June 2022. I am sharing this with you in the event that Filomena Frazzini, my grandmother’s mother, is in fact in your family tree.

I am looking forward to my stay in San Pietro Avellana and to walk in my grandmother’s footsteps!"

Andrea "Andrew" Fazzini (I18910) [Male] b. ABT 1878 - d. 24 Oct 1906 Clarksburg, Harrison, WV
A clipping from the 1 Nov 1906 issue of The Clarksburg (West Virginia) Telegram. It tells of the accidental death in the Perry mine of the Pittsburg & Fairmont Fuel Company at Adamston of one Andrew Frazzini who worked there with his brother. Article says Andrew left a wife and one child "both in the old country". He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Clarksburg.

Andrew is not a common name translation from Italian. I searched through my data base but I cannot find any possible candidate for this person. Andrew might be an Americanization of the Italian name Andrea.

Help from Lisa and Gene on the SPA group discovered that this man was a Fazzini from the town of Campli in the province of Teramo.
