In the Name of God Amen, I, Jacob Sebach of Lincoln County, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind & memory and understanding, but considering the mortality of this life, think fit to make this my last Will & Testament in the following manner, viz, I recommend my Soul into the hand of Almightly God and my Body to Earth to be buried in a decent Christan manner at the discretion of my Executors, as touching such worldly Estate where with it has pleased God to bless me in this Life, I give, demise and dispose of the same in the following manner. First of all, it is my Will and desire that out of my moveable estate shall be so much sold which amount pay's all my just debts and when my debt is pay'd, I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife, Margaret, my Plantation with all the moveable estate belonging to me, upon condition, that she shall have, enjoy & posess all my estate, land and tenement during her lifetime, if she remains a Widow, but after my decease, it is my Will, that all my moveable estate is to be valued by two freeholders to make an inventory thereof that the value there of may be known, in case she should marry again; and if she marry's I give unto my wife out my estate, two beds and furniture, a spinning wheel, one iron pot, one iron kettle, one , six pewter plates, six spoons, six knives and forks and no more wherewith she shall be satisfied, than or likewise after her decease my plantation land & tenements with all the moveable estate shall publicly be sold and the division is to be made amougst my children and her children by her first husband in the following manner, that my youngest children, John Sebach and Margaret Sebach shall each of them have a legacy of fourty Dollars in forehand out of my estate and then they both shall have an equal share with Jacob Sebach, Peter Sebach, Lionder Bollinger, Christian Bollinger, Susanna Bollinger, Anna Mary Bollinger and if my estate amounts to so much that each of this children has to get for I have each fourty Dollars and the two youngest, John Sebach and Margaret Sebach, a double share each of them Eighty Dollars, then and not before this is satified, my other children shall fall into and equal share of the remainder part of my Estate the foregoing benamed children and their names. So shall fall or have an equal share than with all here in benamed children is viz, Catherina Sebach, Joseph Sebach, George Sebach, Magdalena Sebach, Elisabeth Sebach. It is also understood that I gave her the Plantation during her lifetime but if she marry's again, the plantation is to be sold publicly with all the moveable estate and shall in all points be punctually observed as before mentioned and it is further my desire that my children is to be raised in a Christian like manner and if it should appear to Executors that she doth not bring them up in the said like manner, my Executors shall have a full power to take the children out of her hands and bind them to proper persons. I do also constitue, make and ordain my beloved friends, Peter Floyd and Henry Roth to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannull all and every other former Wills & Testament, legacies and bequeaths before named and made. Ratifying and confirming that this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day of November 1804.
